The Healing Process

Craniosacral Therapy works gently and deeply, often in ways the body continues to process long after the session. Some people feel immediate shifts. Others notice changes that unfold over the next 24–48 hours — sometimes longer.

There is no “right” way to respond.

Each session meets your body exactly where it is, working layer by layer — much like peeling an onion. Over time, the system begins to unwind, regulate, and trust that it is safe to release what it no longer needs to hold.

Because CST works with the root rather than just the symptom, it is most supportive when received as a series of sessions instead of a one-time treatment.

Your body always leads the process — and it will only go as far and as fast as it is ready to.

Benefits of Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy can be especially supportive for people who experience:

• stress, overwhelm, or nervous-system fatigue
• headaches or migraines
• back or neck pain
• jaw pain or TMJ dysfunction
• vertigo, tinnitus, or lingering concussion symptoms
• chronic pain patterns — including fibromyalgia
• digestive discomfort or tension held in the belly
• difficulty relaxing, sleeping, or feeling grounded

It may also be helpful for emotional strain such as anxiety, sadness, or burnout, as the nervous system learns to settle and feel safe again.

Craniosacral Therapy is gentle enough for all ages — including infants, pregnant women, and those navigating fertility challenges or birth-related stress.

And sometimes, CST simply offers a quiet space to rest, unwind, and reconnect with yourself — even when there isn’t a specific concern you’re working through.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that supports the body’s natural ability to heal.
Working with the nervous system, the fascia, and the subtle rhythms of the body, CST helps release tension, calm the system, and create space for deep physical and emotional healing — without force or pressure.

CST works by gently relieving restrictions in the craniosacral system — the membranes and fluids that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Because this system influences every part of the body, releasing tension here can support better function throughout the whole system — physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Many people describe CST as deeply calming, grounding, and restorative — like giving the nervous system a chance to finally exhale.

CST is subtle — but surprisingly powerful. Over time, it helps the body remember how to regulate, unwind, and heal from the inside out.

What a Session Feels Like

During a craniosacral session, you remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on your back on a padded massage table. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands on approach that supports the nervous system and follows where your body naturally wants to go.

The work is quiet and unforced. There is nothing you need to make happen or “do correctly.” We simply create a safe space where your system can settle — and your body can reorganize in the way that feels safest, at its own pace.

Each session is unique. Your body leads the process, and we honor whatever shows up with patience and respect.

How Often Should I Come?

Every body heals at its own pace. Some people schedule a few sessions close together to support a specific concern, while others come periodically for ongoing nervous-system support and maintenance.

There is no set formula. During our time together, we’ll simply notice how your body responds and talk about what feels most supportive moving forward. My goal is never to rush the process — only to walk alongside you as healing unfolds.

What a Session Feels Like

During a craniosacral session, you remain fully clothed and lie comfortably on a padded massage table. The work is gentle — I use light, supportive contact to listen to your body and follow its natural rhythms.

Most people describe the experience as deeply relaxing, nurturing, and calming for the nervous system. You may notice warmth, softening, tingling, or a sense of spaciousness as your body begins to unwind.

There is nothing you need to “do” or make happen.
You are simply supported while your system gently reorganizes itself in the way it needs most.
