Trusting What Has Yet to Bloom
Tomorrow brings a super new moon — a time often associated with new beginnings, fresh starts, and setting intentions for what we hope to create moving forward.
Unlike the brightness of a full moon, a new moon offers darkness. At first glance, that darkness can feel uncertain. Yet it is often within the darkness that the most important beginnings take place.
A seed does not sprout the moment it is planted.
It rests beneath the soil, unseen. Quietly gathering what it needs before it ever reaches toward the light.
Perhaps we are not so different.
There are moments in life when we feel called toward something new — a new opportunity, a new way of thinking, a new relationship, a new chapter, or simply a new understanding of ourselves. Often, we cannot yet see where that path will lead. We only know that something within us is asking us to take the next step.
This super new moon invites us to pause and listen.
To reflect on what no longer feels aligned.
To become curious about what we wish to create.
To trust our inner wisdom, even when the entire path is not yet visible.
In many ways, this mirrors the work I witness every day. Healing rarely arrives all at once. It often begins quietly — with awareness, intention, and a willingness to listen to what the body has been trying to tell us.
The changes may not be immediately visible, but that does not mean they are not occurring.
This weekend, I found myself building and planting a new garden.
As I carefully placed each seed and plant into the soil, I couldn't help but think about how much trust gardening requires. We prepare the space, plant the seeds, provide nourishment, and then... we wait.
We don't dig up the seeds the next day to see if they're growing.
We trust the process.
Perhaps this super new moon is inviting us to do the same.
To plant the seeds of a dream, a goal, a new beginning, or a quiet intention. To nurture it with patience and care. And to trust that growth is happening, even when we cannot yet see it.
So as this new moon arrives, I invite you to ask yourself:
What seed am I planting?
What am I ready to nurture?
What possibility is waiting patiently beneath the surface, asking for my trust?
Not everything needs to bloom today.
Sometimes the most meaningful growth begins in the darkness, long before we can see the first signs of change.
