Trusting What Is… and What Might Be
There are moments in life when something shifts — not always loudly, but quietly enough that you could almost ignore it.
Lately, I’ve been sitting with one of those moments.
After many years with the same agency, yesterday marked my last day. It wasn’t something I had been actively searching for, yet something within me knew things were no longer in alignment. When the opportunity for something new presented itself, I felt both a sense of hesitation… and a gentle nudge to explore.
At 64 years young, stepping into something new could easily be met with “what if…”
But instead of fear, I found myself leaning into a different question:
What if this is exactly where I’m meant to be?
There have been so many lessons along the way — connections made, experiences shared, growth that I carry with me. None of it is lost. It all continues forward with me into this next chapter.
I truly believe there is something greater guiding these transitions. Sometimes we are gently moved, even when we’re not actively seeking change. Sometimes we are simply asked to remain open.
To listen.
To trust.
In many ways, this feels no different than the work I do every day.
Creating space…
Listening deeply…
Allowing what is ready to shift to unfold in its own time.
On Monday, I begin with a new agency, and I find myself feeling grateful… and quietly excited for what is to come.
Growth doesn’t always come from certainty.
Sometimes it comes from being willing to step into the unknown — and trusting that there is something there waiting to meet you.
